Can I use an Impress.ly site as the mobile version of my website?

Yes, you can have a mobile website hosted with Impress.ly but you will have to purchase an Impress.ly order for the subdomain e.g. m.domainname.com

How do I update the title of the site?

To update the title of the site you've created, navigate to Edit Style > Header & Title > Text. You can adjust the title of the site here.

Why is there "Demo Data" in my site?

The purpose of this demo data is to give you a better idea of what the feature will look like in your app. While building your site, you may come across demo data when adding certain blocks. Some of the blocks you might find demo data in are:

  • Beverages
  • Blog
  • Coupons
  • Events
  • FAQ
  • Menu
  • News
  • POI
  • People
  • Photos
  • Products
  • Social
  • URLs

 

How do I know whether my site contains demo data?

In the vertical block menu on the left hand side you will see the orange text "Demo" to the right of the block's name.

How do I remove the demo data?

If you're satisfied with the preview of the demo data and are ready to add your own, please do the following: Make sure you've selected the block and look for the orange bar with the text "This is demo data." in the main screen. The right end of this orange bar is a button called "Delete demo data." Click on the button to remove all the demo data in this block.

Can I manage my SEO settings in Impress.ly?

Since most small businesses don't know about SEO or how to optimize that, Impress.ly automatically optimizes the SEO of your site. In the future, Impress.ly will make SEO settings available for you so you can make your own SEO optimization changes to the site.

I have a large amount of images to load, will that slow down the speed of the site?

Impress.ly sites use smart caching and paging of images and the site only loads images if a visitor opens the page which stores the images. So this should not be a problem.

Is it possible to change the footnote?

No, it is not possible to change the footnote.
